Truist Foundation provided $50,000 in funding to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy in response to the devastating flash flood in Central Texas in July 2025. This grant will help fund long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts, ensuring sustained support for the affected communities.
Additionally, Truist Foundation previously provided a $1 million grant to the American Red Cross Annual Disaster Giving Program. This program helps enable the Red Cross to deliver immediate emergency relief services, including providing emergency shelters, food, phone chargers, relief supplies, mental health services, and reunification support. The Red Cross quickly responded to the flood disaster in Texas, working side-by-side with local partners to provide these essential resources.
